Hip Hop, Violence and Our Children

This group will demonstrate the affect of Hip Hop Culture on our children and how the legal system is using it to herd them into jail.

Below are some pictures and, in some cases, CD covers of some well known Rap Groups who (at least in some cases) demonstrate 'violence' through their lyrics and their 'onstage' demeanor. Notice the intentional 'mean-mugs', gang symbols, gang 'attire' and gang colors and gang related paraphernalia. These are the people the music industry present as examples of musical success through their financial backing. If the children try to mimic any of the artists in anyway (whether in real life or online), as children often do, they may be unknowingly breaking the law in states where gang laws exist (like Georgia) and criminally charged and prosecuted.
